Kangaroo Paw Flower (Anigozanthos Flavidus) is native to the South-West region of Western Australia. It blooms into furry flowers in striking shades of yellow, green and red. As the name would have it, this beautiful wild plant resembles the shape of a Kangaroo’s curved fingers. Native Kangaroo Paw Flower is abundant, highly sustainably sourced and certified organic. The flower both produces seeds easily and has the ability to revive damaged soil. Research has now shown the plant can be used to optimise the regenerative power of skin, too.
A rich Botanical history
Thousands of years ago, Aboriginal tribes originally harnessed this special plant’s properties to help with skin repair. It’s special soothing and restorative properties are making it one of the most highly sought-after ingredients of today. Traditionally, some Australian Aborigines like the Noongar people still use the flowers in recipes and eat the nutritious roots for health benefits.
