Learn your skincare ABCs
Your skin needs Vitamins just as much as your body does, so make sure you incorporate these powerhouse ingredients into your routine. Even dermatologists agree your skin needs them daily to treat every skin type and keep it looking its healthiest.
- Vitamin A – Retinol
This A-grade ingredient works below the skin at a cellular level to encourage and accelerate skin renewal, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. We’ve perfected the science with our unique gentle Retinol formula, Super-C Serum, offering amazing results with no side effects like redness, peeling or dryness. It’s the ideal choice for anybody new to using Retinol, thanks to clever time-release technology that helps prevent irritation.
- Vitamin B – Niacinamide
As we’ve mentioned, ‘Niacinamide’ is a form of Vitamin B3, renowned for it’s soothing properties and its ability to protect skin from environmental damage. It’s suitable for pretty much every skin type and it can deliver a multitude of beauty benefits to your skin as listed above. It’s a true multi-tasker!
- Vitamin C – Absorbic Acid
Vitamin C is a stable form of Ascorbic Acid. It’s renowned for being one of the best defences against environmental stressors. You’ll also find it in our all-powerful Super-C Serum. Dermatologists love it because it’s a powerful Antioxidant, counteracting environmental stress, increasing glow and evening out dark marks. We’ve used a high concentration of Vitamin C for maximum glow boosting, with minimal effort.
Try Retinol (Vitamin A), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) in the Ultra Care+ range.
Is it safe to use all three ingredients together?
YES! Because Niacinamide hydrates skin so effectively, it actually makes it the ideal companion to Retinol. We know Retinol is another all-rounder that increases the rate of skin cell turnover. However, sometimes it can cause a dehydrating effect on skin. That’s where Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) comes in! It’s able to stabilise your skin’s barrier function, reducing the amount of water lost, and increasing overall hydration. You should apply the Vitamin B3 booster first, then apply the Super-C Serum on top. You apply it first because it’s a water based serum, so this allows for maximum absorption and it gets your skin ready for the ‘waterless’ Super-C Serum.

Clarity Booster contains other advanced actives and Botanicals that work wonders on your complexion.
For clarity: Bearberry Leaf & Olive Leaf Extract
Derived from Bearberry leaves and combined with Olive Tree leaves, these ingredients work together. They reduce the formation and decrease the intensity of dark spots, improving skin tone, clarity and luminescence. They also soothe skin and provide an anti-irritation comforting action, whilst boosting Antioxidant protection.
For hydration: Sodium Hyaluronate
It mimics Hyaluronic Acid produced naturally by the body and boosts skin’s hydration flooding it with extra moisture. Sodium Hyaluronate is a derivative of Hyaluronic Acid, that due to its small molecular size, is easily absorbed and can reach deep into the dermis layer of the skin, to attract and maintain water.
MORE FAQs
Q: Why do I need Vitamin B Clarity Booster in my skincare routine?
A: Ultra Care+ Vitamin B Clarity Booster targets a multitude of skin concerns. This potent serum contains a high concentration of Vitamin B3 that increases skin resilience, promoting balance and reducing skin stress, helping to improve the appearance of pigmentation, skin congestion, inflamed skin and surface texture.
Q: How do I apply Clarity Booster?
A: Apply morning and night to clean, dry skin after cleansing and toning. Dispense 3-6 drops to fingertips then apply evenly over face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip area. Allow to absorb fully, then follow with your usual serum and/or moisturiser. A slight tingling sensation on the skin means the Vitamins are working.
Q: Where do I slot this into my current skincare routine?
A: It can be used with any Nutrimetics skincare range. For those with sensitive or reactive skin types, always patch test before use due to the concentration of active ingredients. This booster is to be applied to clean, dry skin, after cleansing and toning and before applying your usual moisturiser or serum. It can also be used continuously (so you don’t have to use for a month at a time and then rest skin), and it can be used both morning and/or night.
Q: Can I use this product with Moisturising System?
A: Yes, these treatments will complement each other well. Apply Vitamin B Clarity Booster first. Sodium Hyaluronate is more easily absorbed because of its small molecule size. Allow to absorb fully then layer Moisturising System and follow with the Nutrimetics moisturiser of your choice.
Q: Why can I not use this on broken or freshly exfoliated skin?
A: Avoid using this product on broken skin or immediately after exfoliation, skin needling, micro-dermabrasion and any treatment that leads to the skin barrier being compromised. It can cause irritation and active ingredients not to work as they should.
